Privacy policy

You can use the calculator without creating an account or entering your name, email, licence number or address.

Calculator inputs

The calculator runs in your browser. Selected categories and computed ranges are not submitted to us or stored by the site’s calculator code. Search terms appear in the page URL and may be present in hosting request logs; article matching runs in your browser after downloading a public search index. We do not use analytics or advertising scripts on this version of the site.

Technical delivery data

The hosting provider may process technical information necessary to serve pages, such as IP address, device or browser details, request time and security logs, under its own terms. We do not use those details to calculate an estimate.

Contact messages

The site does not collect messages through a web form. If you choose to email us at contact@insuranceestimates.ca, your email provider and ours will process your email address and the information you send. We use it to respond to your question or handle a correction, and retain it only as needed for that purpose, subject to the providers’ own storage practices. Please do not send policy numbers, licence details, payment information or other sensitive information.

Advertising and cookies

There are currently no AdSense ads or Google advertising cookies on this site. If ads are added, we will update this policy to explain Google's and other vendors' data collection, cookies and available choices, and configure any required consent controls before enabling ads.
